Azulejos are tin-glazed ceramic tiles originally introduced to Portugal by King Manuel I after he admired similar Moorish artwork at the Alhambra in Spain.

The floor line simulates dropping the fragile ceramic tiles. It assigns escalating negative points to players who draft more pieces than they can fit in their pattern lines.

Completing a five-tile horizontal row on your wall ends the game. However, finishing a vertical row or a complete color set yields higher point bonuses during final scoring.

Pushing leftover tiles into the center creates a growing shared pool. The first player to draft from it takes a minor point penalty but claims the first player token.
