One Quiz, three channels: newsletter, hosted link, and website
How one Atrivial Quiz can move from an email interaction to a hosted play page and a website embed without rebuilding the questions.
Readers encounter a publisher in more than one place. Some open the email, some follow a shared link, and others arrive directly on the website. A Quiz should be able to meet each reader without becoming three separate production jobs.
Atrivial lets the same Quiz appear as newsletter HTML, a hosted play link, and a website embed. The questions stay together while each channel does a different job.
Newsletter HTML earns the first answer
Email clients place strict limits on interactive code, so the newsletter version is designed as a dependable entry point. A reader can choose an answer from the email and continue into the full hosted Quiz, where Atrivial can show feedback and the remaining questions.
This keeps the email lightweight while putting a real question—not a generic button—in front of the reader.
The hosted link makes the Quiz portable
Every published Quiz can have a direct play destination. That link works beyond the original send: in a social post, a follow-up email, a text message, or a callout elsewhere on the site.
The hosted page is also the continuation point for newsletter readers. They arrive at the same Quiz instead of a detached copy of it.
The website embed keeps readers on the publisher’s page
A website embed places the playable experience inside an article, homepage module, or recurring feature. It is useful when the Quiz should sit beside the reporting that inspired it or become a persistent part of the publication’s site.
Publishers can use their workspace controls for the website presentation rather than recreating the question set in a separate embed tool.
Match the channel to the moment
The three formats are complementary. The email starts the interaction, the hosted link travels easily, and the embed adds depth on-site. A simple distribution plan can use all three without changing the Quiz itself.
- In the newsletter: feature one strong question.
- At the hosted link: let readers complete and share the Quiz.
- On the website: place the full experience beside related content.
