How to add trivia quizzes and polls to your newsletter
Atrivial turns your articles, links, or RSS feed into a Quiz you can review and publish. Feature the first question in your newsletter; linked answers take readers into the full Quiz.
A local newsletter could turn its weekly reporting into three trivia questions and a reader poll: test recall of the main stories, then ask which topic readers want covered next. The questions give readers a reason to participate, while the poll invites them to share a preference.
How do I turn an article into a newsletter Quiz?
Start a Quiz in Atrivial and choose Use my content. Paste the article text, provide a webpage URL, or connect an RSS feed. Choose your questions, generate a draft, then review the wording, answer choices, and facts before publishing.
Trivia questions have a correct answer. Polls collect opinions and have no correct answer. Use trivia for something readers can learn from your reporting, and a poll for a preference such as which local issue deserves a follow-up.
- Choose source content that contains enough information to answer the questions.
- Check every generated question against the source; edit or replace anything unclear.
- Publish the reviewed Quiz and choose how readers will reach it.
How do I put the first question in my email?
Use the Quiz’s email output in a newsletter editor that accepts custom HTML. The email shows a featured question; when answers are links, clicking one opens the Quiz in a browser with that answer carried through.
If your editor does not accept custom HTML, share the hosted Quiz link using a normal button or text link. Kit users can install the Atrivial Quiz block through Kit’s Apps area.
Can I reuse the Quiz in future newsletters?
A Quiz can use an RSS feed and a schedule to prepare new editions from your content. Review the edition that will go live before sending readers to it.
For repeated sends, Auto-Updating Email follows the Quiz’s current live edition using the installed HTML. Fixed Email HTML is a snapshot: copy it again when its question content changes. Send yourself a test to check the question and answer links in your email provider.
Which plan do I need?
Individual includes newsletter quizzes, polls, hosted Quiz links, scheduling, and branding. Business and Enterprise add website embedding and sponsorship placements. You can start with a hosted link without setting up a page on your own website.
